To help make the application process smooth and stress free, we have put together a handy guide of the recommended tools to use when applying your gorgeous new wallpaper designs!

Application Tools:

• Tape measure and ruler for accurate measurements
• Bladed knife for precision trimming
• Press roller for smooth adhesion
• Spirit level to ensure that the adhesive wallpaper is straight

Please find below our step-by-step guide to the glue-free application process:

1. Clean the surface area you wish to cover, using a non-oil-based cleaner and damp, lint-free cloth
2. Wait until the wall is completely dry prior to application
3. Measure the walls at their longest and widest points
4. Prepare your first panel of adhesive wallpaper to the height of the wall, adding around 10cm (or 3 inches) of excess material at the bottom
5. Make sure to align your design of choice with each consecutive panel to ensure your elegant design matches up perfectly!
6. Expert tip: if you are cutting panels prior to application, note the number of the panel on the back
7. Peel away the adhesive wallpaper backing by around 20cm (6 inches)
8. Use a spirit level to mark the top line to ensure this is straight
9. Use a press roller or felt wallpaper squeegee to gently smooth the paper against the wall surface, working from the centre outwards to eliminate air pockets
10. Continue peeling away the backing paper, and smoothing the adhesive wallpaper on the wall until you reach the bottom
11. Trim the excess away with a bladed knife

The unique benefit of adhesive wallpaper is that, even if you do happen to make a mistake, you can simply remove the wallpaper gently and reapply. If any creases appear during the application, please peel away carefully starting from a corner.To remove your wallpaper, whether to reapply or because you would like a change you do not need any solutions or water; simply peel gently away, always beginning in a corner.

The Deco Paperie wallpapers are all crease resistant, so any accidental creases that appear will quickly disappear as the material returns to the original shape!

Remember that our materials are fully recyclable; so if you have finished using your wall coverings make sure to recycle them!

Deco Paperie adhesive wallpapers are designed for simple and easy use. To ensure you get the best possible finish from your delightful new decor, we have put together some tips for the perfect usage!

1. We offer a range of styles, designs and compositions to offer a variety of wallpapers to suit every personal style. Consider ordering a sample to see first-hand the quality and finish of the adhesive wallpaper you would like to use, and trial it on a subtle part of the room you wish to redecorate
2. Deco Paperie adhesive wallpaper should be applied to a smooth and flat surface; the optimal surface for perfect adhesion is a wall which has been primed and painted with a satin finish
3. Should your walls have been freshly painted, we recommend waiting for around one month before applying adhesive wallpaper
4. Our wallpapers are designed to be durable and withstand the temperature fluctuations in domestic homes. The best temperatures are between 15°C-25°C
5. It is advised to avoid directing very strong heat and light towards adhesive wallpapers
6. Deco Paperie wall coverings are best cleaned with a clean damp cloth which is free of lint, and avoiding strong abrasion or any chemical substances
7. To ensure you order the right volume of adhesive wallpaper, we recommend adding a 10% contingency to the wall space you would like to cover, to ensure there is enough material for full coverage (and to make up for any accidents!)

When you receive your brand-new adhesive wallpaper, we recommend checking your delivery straight away to make sure that your beautiful decor has arrived safely! We’d also suggest checking that every part of your order has been received and to notify your courier immediately if any part of an order is missing.

Deco Paperie checks every order, and each product that leaves us passes through our double quality Inspection process. In the unlikely event that there is any flaw or issue with your delivery, please let us know straight away so we can put things right! We would request any problems be reported to us within two days of receipt of your delivery to help us find the fastest possible resolution.

We may ask for a photo of the problem to help us quickly identify what has gone wrong, and always appreciate assistance in resolving any queries just as promptly as we are able.

Where an item needs to be returned, our Customer Services team will be happy to provide the address and courier details to help get this sent back. Our Quality team will then evaluate the returned item and offer a replacement product or refund as is required.

Circumstances where claims may not be accepted:
Deco Paperie produces custom-made exquisite home decor. We do not hold products in stock, or out-source our design work. That in mind, we are unfortunately unable to accept cancellations once an order has been placed and confirmed.

Likewise, refunds and exchange requests as a result of circumstances outside of our control cannot be accepted. These may include:

• Damage from faulty or careless handling
• Issues caused by damaged walls or use of unsuitable application tools
• Lost or damaged packages (these are reclaimable through the relevant courier)
• Failed deliveries due to incorrect delivery information

Should an error have been made in your delivery details on order confirmation, and the delivery subsequently fail, we will re-ship this as soon as we are able. The replacement courier costs will need to be covered to enable us to send out the second dispatch.
